i just had some late night drunk crackers and cheese with artichoke dip. it was really great, i was about 6 in when i ran out of both dip and cheese (cheddar)and resorted to just eating the cracker by itself (grain and seeds toasted bretons.) it ended up tasting way better than the whole dip/cheese ensemble and now regret not eating more plain crackers.

caution. over 30 minutes of strokes interviews ahead. be really bored stoned or intrigued before you attempt to watch this or whatever. i dont really care what you do. these interviews are actually pre "is this it", the debut strokes record. i never liked the strokes when they came out and for alot of the reasons mentioned in the interview. just too much hype. and last nite was a good song, but not the greatest thing ever. they did grow on me and recently i've come to love them and respect them. i dig and found that room on fire and first impressions were a little more mature or progressive but the first album is still tight and exciting. it was the beginning of what was supposed to be the saviour of rock. i love the iconic aesthetic they give off. each persona, like instrument, is unique and visible and heard and has their moments and time in the sun. its late. i haven't watched all of this and i doubt you will but i'll make it easy for those of you who reaaaally love the strokes or nardwuar or are really high or have fuck all to do or have essays that they havent even started and theyre too fuckin busy posting videos and finding nip slips on the antarnet.
One of my favorite bands, ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead, is coming out with not only a new album in thine new year, but they are also releasing an EP, Festival Thyme, in October. This is much anticipated for me and for alot of their fans because their last one was... not up to snuff. Even though i liked it, even the band has come to admit they threw it out there because they had to. They needed the paycheck. So needless to say I'm psyched for their nearfuture endeavours and recently the all glory that is pitchfork.com caught up with frontman Conrad Keely to discuss all that shit. Amongst other things, like switching and creating a record label and working with Yeasayer. ((((I am especially excited on his recent delvings into theophany, or holy music, the idea of music in the afterlife or that music has a deeper ramafications and connections than we can understand and whatnot. It's something I know he's been interested in for a while and its dope to see him finally actualize it on an album and in song after touching on it previously (Another Morning Stoner, and alot of the underlying subject matter on Source Tags & Codes))))
i have to work today. i want to make this blog accessable to people who are high, who aren't or who want to be. it would be so dope (not to mention satisfying) if you could get high by reading this blog.
